Mat Pilates is based on the original exercises designed by Joseph Pilates. It's performed primarily on the mat, using your own body resistance as well as props; Pilates circles, balls and resistance bands. With core control as the focus, you will be guided through exercises to enhance posture, core strength, and tone muscles. Whilst it is gentle on joints, be prepared to work just that little bit harder than a Reformer class. All exercises are easily modified for all skill levels and ages. We have mats but you're welcome to bring your own. Open to all levels as well as prenatal and postal with medical clearance.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours prior to class start time will forfeit that session. No-shows and absences will forfeit that session. UNLIMITED MEMBERS will incur a $20 No Show fee for all classes they’re marked absent for and a $10 Late Cancel fee for all classes cancelled within 12 hours of class. A Late Cancel 30 minutes before class is considered a No Show. SESSION BASED MEMBERS will incur a $10 fee for all late cancels and no shows. ALL MEMBERS will receive 1 fee waiver per calendar month.
